Info
On December 9, 2026, Darkest Hour arrives at Foufounes Électriques in Montreal with its own distinctive blend of metalcore and melodic death metal, forged in Washington, D.C. since the mid-1990s. Onstage, the band works a tense balance between ultrafast riffs, dark harmonies inherited from the Swedish scene, and hardcore energy, carried by abrasive vocals and tempo shifts that leave little room to breathe.
The date promises a set that traverses the band’s different eras, from the early records that established their identity to the more recent releases, where thrash velocity and melodies cross paths without smoothing them out. With a steadfast core that has remained faithful through lineup changes, Darkest Hour mainly reminds why its dense and direct writing works so well live, between precision, tension, and impact.
As openers, Judiciary and Kill Chain complete the bill with a more direct approach, ideal for kicking off the evening.
