Info
Ruby Waters brings the Suppre$$ions North America Tour to Vancouver on April 8, 2027, for a night built around voice, guitar, and songs that hit close to the bone. The Ontario-born, Toronto-based songwriter moves between indie rock and alternative pop, with a hint of folk and soul in the phrasing. Her writing stays direct and grounded, digging into relationships, disillusionment, and the rough patches without hiding behind big metaphors.
On stage, she knows how to shift the same track from stripped-back intimacy to a more electric push, keeping the melodies tight and the delivery front and center. Expect simple riffs, pop-shaped structures, and rhythms that sometimes lean toward R&B, all carried by that deep, husky tone. Ruby Waters plays the Commodore Ballroom with the kind of set that feels like a conversation: honest, dynamic, and made to be sung back.
