Info
On March 27, 2027, Alex Sampson brings his intimate pop songwriting to The Opera House in Toronto. Coming out of northwestern Ontario, he’s built his buzz by sharing covers and originals online, then turning short, unfinished hooks into full songs that stick. His world sits between contemporary pop and an acoustic, voice-first approach: introspective ballads, romantic or melancholic lines, and melodies that feel direct rather than overproduced.
Live, Sampson leans into that closeness, reshaping his singles in stripped-back versions where the focus stays on the vocal and the song’s core. Expect a set that moves from bedroom-pop softness to cleaner pop choruses, with those familiar, instantly hummable turns that made him stand out on the internet in the first place.
