On March 12, 2027, in Saint-Lô at Théâtre de la Ville, Piers Faccini slips in as the opening act with his art of spare, inhabited songs. Born in England into a family with Italian roots and raised in the south of France, he has built a universe where folk and acoustic blues cross with Mediterranean colors, sometimes with a breath from the Sahel. On stage, his music goes straight to the essentials: a warm voice, a precise guitar, minimalist arrangements that leave room for silences, modes and nuances. From his early solo records such as Leave No Trace to more recent albums, Faccini unfolds a repertoire crafted for listening, between clear melodies and discreet rhythms. Though accustomed to collaborations, he nevertheless maintains a highly artisanal sense of the concert, like an intimate prelude to the evening's main event.
