Info
China Crisis bring their Liverpool-bred mix of new wave, synth-pop and soft-edged sophisti-pop to The Ambassador Theatre in Dublin on February 7, 2027. Built around the duo of Gary Daly (vocals, keys) and Eddie Lundon (guitar, vocals), their sound is all about melodic keyboards, chiming guitars and bass lines that stay supple even when the songs lean introspective.
Expect a set that moves through the band’s early-80s rush of sleek pop writing, from the first waves that put them on the map to the more refined, studio-polished years that followed. China Crisis have always walked a line between electronic pop and gentle post-punk, with a taste for sophisticated arrangements that never get in the way of the hook. In a live setting, those details open up: rhythm parts breathe, the choruses land clean, and the mood swings from bright to wistful without forcing it.
