Info
Sylvan Esso are coming to the Astra Kulturhaus in Berlin on February 3, 2027 — and anyone who has seen the Durham duo live knows: this isn’t about a conventional band routine, but a finely wired interplay of voice, groove, and electronics. Amelia Meath’s singing is at the center, agile and intimate, while Nick Sanborn shapes the tracks in real time: off‑kilter rhythms, airy textures, pop structures that can bend at any moment.
Since the early breakthrough with “Hey Mami,” Sylvan Esso has consistently expanded this blend of indie pop, electropop, and folktronica—from the self-titled debut through What Now to Free Love and No Rules Sandy. On stage, the songs are not simply played back, but reassembled: sometimes minimal and direct, sometimes with that open, experimental drive that makes their live shows so exciting.
