Info
Mike + The Mechanics come to Harrogate for the “Back on Track Tour” on May 8, 2027, bringing back that signature UK pop-rock and soft-rock sound built around tight songwriting and big, melodic choruses. Born in 1985 during a Genesis break, the band has always balanced studio polish with a road-ready band feel, and the set is expected to move smoothly between punchy, radio-shaped rock and warmer adult-contemporary grooves with a hint of soul.
This tour is a chance to hear a catalogue that marked the late 80s and 90s, with key songs like “Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)”, “All I Need Is a Miracle” and “The Living Years”, alongside later material that kept the project moving forward. Since the 2010 relaunch led by Mike Rutherford, the group’s new-era lineup has kept the songs sharp and the hooks front and center, mixing crowd staples with tracks from albums like The Road, Let Me Fly and Out of the Blue.
