Info
Supergrass bring their Oxford-born rush of britpop, punk snap and pop melody to Rock City in Nottingham on May 4, 2027. Built around Gaz Coombes, Mick Quinn and Danny Goffey, with Rob Coombes later taking the keyboard role full-time, the band has always played it fast and tight, then slipped into more layered writing when you least expect it.
This show is a chance to hear that whole arc in one go: the wiry, straight-to-the-point kick that put them on the map with early singles, the sharp guitar pop of I Should Coco, then the more crafted turns of In It for the Money and the richer, denser colours they explored across the 2000s. Expect concise songs, properly built choruses, and a set that can swing from punchy alternative rock to psych-leaning pop and glam-tinged moods without losing its grip. After reuniting in 2019, Supergrass are back where they belong: on stage, playing like a band that knows exactly how to make a room move.
