Info
On December 13, 2026, at the Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow, Ash bring their “1977 30th Anniversary Tour” to a room that fits their no-fuss, plug-in-and-go spirit. Born in Downpatrick in the early 90s around Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray, the band have always worked that sweet spot between alternative rock, pop‑punk, power pop and indie: tight riffs, bright melodies, and short, fast songs built like proper pop.
This anniversary run puts the focus back on 1977, the record that helped turn Ash into a mid‑90s staple, without freezing them in time. After years of shifting formats, from the Charlotte Hatherley era to the later three‑piece years and a steady flow of newer albums, they’ve kept the same direct, melodic energy. Expect a set that celebrates the punch of those classic hooks while reminding everyone why Ash have stayed on the UK and Irish rock circuit for decades.
