Info
On December 8, 2026, Ash land in Manchester at Albert Hall with that tight, melodic rock they’ve been sharpening since the early 90s. Born in Downpatrick around Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray, the band has always played it fast and direct: short songs, big choruses, and a sweet spot between pop‑punk urgency, alternative edge, power pop hooks and indie attitude.
The set should move easily across eras, from the breakthrough wave that put them on the map in the mid‑90s through the bigger, more expansive years, and back to the lean three‑piece energy they’ve kept alive ever since. With recent records like Race the Night still pushing that punchy, singalong spirit, this Manchester date promises a night built for guitars up front and melodies that stick around long after the last chord.
