Info
On December 16, 2026, Ash land at O2 Academy Leeds to celebrate the 30th anniversary of 1977, the record that pinned their name to the UK and Irish rock map in the mid-90s. Built around Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray, the Downpatrick trio have always gone for tight, melodic songs where pop songwriting meets the snap of pop-punk, alternative rock and power pop.
This tour is a chance to dive back into the fast, lean spirit of 1977, but also to hear how those hooks have carried through everything that followed: the bigger, more expansive eras, the later return to a three-piece attack, and the steady run of recent albums that keep their sound direct and immediate. Expect guitars up front, choruses that hit quick, and a set that treats nostalgia as fuel rather than a museum piece.
