Info
Carlow’s bilingual, multi-instrumentalist artist SexyTadhg announces their ‘SLUTTRAD’ UK & IRE Tour for October, November and December 2026 at The Cluny in Newcastle upon Tyne, in tandem with the release of their genre-blurring “TADHG” EP, which demonstrates a vision of Traditional Irish music that is entwined with queer culture, exploring the modern Irish identity.
The SexyTadhg live show is described as a blend of big band jazz, theatrical soul and pop, with brass, keys, layered harmonies and a groove-rich rhythm section that channels the SexyTadhg persona while showcasing their vocal presence.
Tadhg's vocals and piano skills have reached audiences internationally, as their big band show highlights Irish musicianship. Their performances often draw comparisons to icons like David Bowie, Elton John, Lady Gaga and Freddie Mercury, while intertwining this persona with Traditional Irish folk and narratives that explore themes of gender, sexuality and mental health.
