Info
On November 21, SUBconscious takes control of Village Underground Barcelona for a night rooted in sound system culture: deep bass, rolling breaks and jungle energy. Headlining the night are Digital & Charla Green, representing Function Records. Digital brings decades of jungle and sound system heritage, while Charla offers a fresh, bass-heavy perspective. Their collaborations fuse their styles through hard-hitting breaks, deep bass, and infectious riddims. Representing Barcelona, Egres & Sekev from Jungle Jungle bring years of experience behind the decks and a long track record in the city’s jungle and drum & bass scene. They are joined by Jon-Roy, founder and resident of the Maltese collective Statix, and YAY Crew, responsible for the night’s sound system. On the mic, No Limit, a former battle rapper, arrives from the United Kingdom with razor-sharp bars and intense energy, alongside Stormy, cofounder of SUBconscious and a figure in Barcelona’s jungle and bass culture for over two decades. Visuals by Meerkat, shaping the atmosphere with an immersive visual journey throughout the night.
