To celebrate the release of Swell, its new compilation curated by Maxye for Applause, the label takes over Le Sacré for a night dedicated to house, percussion, and musical encounters.
Thought of as a spotlight on the female and queer electronic music scene's producers, Swell brings together 11 artists with singular universes, spanning house, disco, techno and bass music. A single thread: groove, rhythms, and the collective energy of the dancefloor.
Inspired by the movement of the ocean, the compilation unfolds like a succession of waves, with build-ups, contrasts and breaths. An open and inclusive vision of the club, where each artist asserts their identity while participating in a shared movement.
For this release party at Le Sacré, Maxye brings together several female producers featured on the compilation, around an evening imagined as a continuation of the project behind the decks.
