Info
Hugo Barriol lands in London for a show at The Grace on March 12, 2027, bringing that road-tested folk-pop he built between subway tunnels, street corners and small stages. Expect songs driven by guitar and a clear, unforced voice, where the writing stays direct and the melodies do the heavy lifting. His early English-language tracks and the album Yellow, recorded in London with producer Ian Grimble, sit naturally next to the more travel-soaked spirit of Everywhere / Anywhere, born from a van trip across Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Lately he’s also been leaning into a more intimate, stripped-back approach with Bleu, switching into French without losing his taste for simple, clean songwriting. Live, it’s less about big gestures and more about closeness: a set that moves between acoustic warmth, pop precision and that feeling of being on the move, even when you’re standing still.
