All Good
To open this new All Good series at Le Bien Public, Kiddy Smile, Nick V and Pops are behind the decks for a generous and sunny night. Three artists, between house, groove and queer energy, with a shared love for sets that keep the dance floor moving.
Kiddy Smile stands where rhythm meets resistance. Anchored in Chicago house and ballroom culture, his sound is at once physical and political, a dance floor that speaks.
His flagship track Let a Bitch Know, released on Defected, has become a queer anthem born in the French suburbs, a call for freedom wrapped in bass and defiance.
Founder of the La Mona parties and curator of the House Of Riviera compilations, Nick V is an experienced DJ.
Primarily house, Nick's sets also incorporate disco and techno, and his sense of the dance floor has earned him a solid reputation in France and internationally. A recognized musical curator, vinyl remains his preferred format, a passion and collection he has cultivated since 1984, spanning the eras and movements of dance music.
Collector of memories and records, Pops curates rugged, contemplative, or downright dancefloor-friendly selections.
Between soul, Italo, disco and house with ethereal and groovy textures, she builds hybrid sets that create a real mood on the dance floor, with a refined and curious signature.
