Info
On March 17, 2027, Hazlett lands at Manchester Academy with his indie-folk built between Brisbane roots and a Stockholm base. His songs move in that space where acoustic guitar and tight, spare arrangements leave room for a vocal that stays close, almost conversational. You can hear the DNA of the early “Thundering Hopes” EP in the way he leans into melancholic ballads, but the more recent material opens things up, letting subtle electronic textures and pop instincts sit quietly in the background. Across the set, expect melodies that stick without trying too hard, shifts from hushed verses to brighter lift-offs, and lyrics that circle doubt, nostalgia, and the messier corners of relationships. It’s a show for anyone who likes their folk modern, intimate, and tuned to the details in between the notes.
