Info
Beoga brings its tight, forward-moving take on Irish traditional music to The Grand Social in Dublin on December 14, 2026. Formed in 2002, the band built its identity on the classic building blocks of the tradition jigs, reels and airs, but played like a real ensemble, with arrangements that breathe and hit with precision. On stage, you can expect that interplay to do the heavy lifting: accordion lines pushing the melodies, bodhrán rhythms that keep everything sharp, piano adding lift and depth, and strings threading it all together.
Over the years, Beoga has stretched its sound without drifting away from the repertoire, opening the door to more contemporary writing and a folk-pop conversation heard across albums like Before We Change Our Mind and Carousel, as well as later releases such as Phases. This Dublin date is a good chance to catch how they balance dance-floor energy with craft, staying rooted while keeping the pulse current.
