Info
On March 11, 2027, Palace returns to Warsaw and will perform at Progresja with a concert built around new material. The British group enters the next phase as a fully independent band, and their fifth album, 'Ox,' resonates as a record of changes that have occurred along the way: more space, natural breathing and movement, and less forcing everything to the last detail. Recorded in Deptford with Adam Jaffrey, the disc moves in a more organic direction, with echoes of classical playing and a calmer Americana, yet without abandoning their recognizable, slightly hazy guitar aesthetic.
Live, this material has a real chance to spread its wings: 'Kid' carries a thread of longing and closeness, and longer forms like 'Brown Bread' allow the band to build tension slowly, layer by layer. Palace has long played on contrasts—soft guitars, restrained vocals, and sudden surges of emotion—and it is precisely this dynamism that we will hear in Warsaw, as they traverse their latest releases and a new era of playing on their own terms.
