Info
On March 30, 2027, Jack Kays brings his band to The Grand Social in Dublin for a set that mirrors the way he’s built his career: at the crossroads of indie rock, hip-hop, pop-punk and emo. Coming out of the SoundCloud rap ecosystem, the Cincinnati songwriter has gradually pushed his sound toward sharper guitars and more alternative structures, while keeping that mix of melodic singing and rap-like phrasing at the front.
Live, the songs hit with tight choruses and nervous energy, carried by a full band setup that underlines the pop-punk edge without losing the modern production feel. Across releases like Morbid Mind, Mixed Emotions, the Voice Memos EPs, and more recent chapters such as Caffeine and the Deadbeat! discs, he’s developed a direct writing style that doesn’t dodge themes like isolation, mental health, and dependencies. Expect a show that moves fast between confession and hook, with the band giving his catalog extra punch in the room.
