Info
Will Young brings his pop-soul songwriting and electro-leaning touches to Symphony Hall in Birmingham on March 3, 2027. First known to many as the original Pop Idol winner, he’s long since moved past the TV-launch template, building a catalog where a flexible voice sits comfortably between adult-pop hooks, danceable arrangements, and quieter, more intimate moments.
Expect a set that can travel from the early records that shaped his sound to the more synthetic, contemporary edge he explored on Echoes, without forgetting the elegance of his later releases. Will Young’s taste for interpretation also runs deep, and his recent work has leaned into that instinct, treating songs with the precision of someone who’s spent years balancing studio craft with live performance. It’s the kind of show that plays on nuance as much as melody: direct, warm, and built for a room that lets the voice do the talking.
