Info
On 12 June 2027 at NX Newcastle, Roni Size reunites with Reprazent to celebrate the anniversary of New Forms, the record that helped push Bristol’s jungle into a sharper, jazzier drum and bass. Expect that signature mix of rapid breaks, heavy low-end and live-instrument energy: a sound built for the dancefloor but packed with detail, from rolling basslines to tight, funky accents and vocals that cut through the rush.
This “New Forms Anniversary” date is also a chance to reconnect with the Reprazent spirit: a collective approach where DJ culture meets musicianship, and where tracks like “Brown Paper Bag” became a common language for a whole generation of ravers.
To keep the pressure up, Fabio and Grooverider join the night with the kind of veteran selections that shaped UK rave culture, bridging early jungle intensity and the deeper, more futuristic edges of drum and bass.
