Info
On May 26, 2027, Erasure will land at Royal Arena Copenhagen for an evening in which synth-pop is allowed to fill the room with both drive and the soft melancholy the duo has always carried in their repertoire. Behind the name stand Vince Clarke, known for his electronic signature from, among others, Depeche Mode and Yazoo, and Andy Bell, whose voice and stage persona have become as important a part of the sound as the crisp synth textures. The concert traces back to the years when Erasure truly cemented themselves in the late 80s and 90s with albums such as The Circus, The Innocents and Chorus, and where they wrote those kinds of choruses you can still sing along to without thinking. At the same time, the show points toward a career that has never really stood still, but has continually expanded the boundaries of what their pop can be. Here it is the songs, the melodies and the chemistry between Clarke and Bell that are at the center.
