This autumn, Art Basel Paris, White Cube and the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine present three monumental bronze sculptures by the artist Tracey Emin on the Parvis des Droits-de-l’Homme in Paris. Titled I lay here for you (2018), I Followed You to the End (2024) and I Will Not Be Alone (2025), these works explore the female body as a site of vulnerability, endurance and transformation. Across the three sculptures, the body shifts from a lying position to a kneeling position, then to a seated position, tracing an arc from abandonment to resilience. The works will be on view from October 14 to November 1, 2026, marking Art Basel Paris’s first public project installed on the Parvis des Droits-de-l’Homme and presented by the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine – Palais de Chaillot.
