Info
DRAMA, the Chicago duo formed by singer Via Rosa and producer Na’el Shehade, will land at the Melkweg in Amsterdam on February 25, 2027. Their sound starts from alternative R&B, but can just as easily swing open to electronic pop and the house DNA of their hometown: tight, club-oriented structures, understated synth textures, and basslines that linger, with Via Rosa’s soulful voice as a fixed core.
Since the EP Gallows (2016) and Lies After Love (2018), DRAMA has moved between intimate R&B songs and tracks that clearly long for the dance floor. On the album Dance Without Me (2020), that balance is brought into sharp relief, with themes such as relationships, loneliness and the euphoria of the night, plus the aftermath that always follows. Live, that translates into a set where emotion and tempo alternate: melancholy giving way to club energy, without the vocals ever receding into the background.
