Info
On August 18, 2027, Leon Bridges brings The Happiness Anytime Tour to Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, a chance to catch an artist who keeps stretching soul without losing its warmth. First known for a stripped-back, classic feel, Bridges has steadily opened his palette over the years, moving into sleeker R&B and neo-soul, then flirting with folk and country textures. Expect a set that can slide from vintage groove to late-night slow-burners, carried by that smooth, flexible voice and tight, organic arrangements.
With special guest KOKOROKO, the night also taps into London’s afrobeat-jazz energy. Led around trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey, the collective blends brass-heavy melodies, highlife and afrobeat rhythms, and a jazz spirit built on improvisation. Their live sound is communal and kinetic, shifting between danceable patterns and more reflective passages, like the moodier side they explored on Could We Be More.
