Info
Nessa Barrett comes to Berlin's Columbiahalle on 22 March 2027 with her 'The Tough Love Tour.' The American singer-songwriter has been building a pop universe since the early 2020s, effortlessly weaving emo, alternative rock, and dark pop together. On stage, melancholic ballads meet more driving tracks, propelled by distorted guitars, modern pop production, and those choruses that hit the mark.
Lyrically, Barrett stays close to intimate themes: mental health, relationships, self-destruction, and this constant struggle with herself. By the EP 'Pretty Poison' and the album 'Young Forever,' she clearly delineated her sound; later, with 'Hell Is a Teenage Girl,' she pushed it even darker and more angular. In Berlin, you can expect a set that hovers between pop and pop-rock, remains introspective, and still moves forward.
