Info
On March 8, 2027, Soen arrives at Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette to present its melodic yet dark progressive metal. Born in Stockholm around drummer Martin Lopez and vocalist Joel Ekelöf, the band has built itself on rhythms that keep moving, precisely carved structures, and a clear vocal line that guides the whole without seeking to boast. On stage, you can expect a set that traverses its different periods: the tension and polymetric motifs of Cognitive, the openness of Tellurian, and then the more organic and direct turn of Lykaia. The albums Lotus and Imperial have tightened the formula further, pairing catchy riffs with airier arrangements and a touch of alternative rock, without losing the love of atmosphere. More recently, Memorial confirms this tighter format, while Atlantis reminds us that the band can also handle nuance and intimacy. A concert for those who like it heavy, but with space and depth.
