Info
On October 14, 2027, Eddy de Pretto takes the stage at Le Liberté in Rennes for a concert where his songs rub shoulders with rap and with nerve-wracking electronic pop. On stage, he moves his songs forward at the pace of spoken-sung delivery, with that direct, frontal cadence that puts the text at the center and arrangements that play on rhythmic tension and melody.
From Kid to Cure, he has built a richly narrative universe, between intimate stories, the suburbs, romantic relationships, and a critical look at social norms and masculinity. The follow-up broadened the frame: To all the Bastards with a more expansive production, then Crash Cœur which leans toward an R&B color and a more sentimental pop, without sacrificing the impact of the lyrics.
This Rennes date promises to be a carefully crafted live moment, where writing and the energy of the performance respond to one another, between tracks that hit hard and passages that are more bare.
