Info
AFROMAN RADIO celebrates 25 years of skate culture that became the soundtrack of dance floors, and sets its turntables in Nice, at Le 109, on Saturday, October 24, 2026. Born in North Hollywood before settling in France in the early 2000s, the crew has always circulated the same energy: borderless selections where soul, funk, rare grooves, Afrobeat, Brazilian beats, and deep house respond to one another, as long as it grooves. At the controls, Saï and Sly Da Wise defend the Afroman Radio spirit: free, collective, built for parties and gatherings.
For the occasion, they invite Nickodemus, a New York DJ and producer who rose on the late-1990s club scene and founder of Wonderwheel Recordings. His style moves between house, broken beat, downtempo and hip-hop, with a pronounced taste for percussion, dub, funk and soul, and Afro-Latin, Caribbean, or Middle Eastern nods. The night is designed as a grand mix, blending tropical warmth with urban pulse.
