Info
Marttein is an Argentine singer and producer who fuses rock music with electronic music. He began his career in 2016, at the age of fifteen, in Buenos Aires’ underground rave and club scene. After releasing a series of EPs and his album trilogy Antro (2017), Guerra (2018), and Némesis (2019), he took a leap with his self-titled album, released in late 2024. In this nine-track work, he poured out the frustration and sense of failure he felt after seven years of playing in nightclubs and releasing albums that barely stirred any noise. The project found its visual expression in the film 'Una película argentina,' starring 'the Blond,' a satire of his persona, his life, and his nocturnal experiences in pursuit of his dream. The album featured appearances by Dillom, Juana Rozas, and Mariana Enríquez. During 2025, Marttein toured Argentina and Latin America, performing in Mexico, Colombia, and Uruguay. That same year he released El Marrón and Morir al sol, a double single with rockabilly influences, and then Espectacular, an EP that portrays individualism and the current success-obsessed youth. The project included a short film featuring Tomás Rebord in an interlude and Six Sex in Pizza Party. These releases form The Decadence Trilogy. He also opened for Billy Idol’s show at Movistar Arena and began 2026 by performing at Lollapalooza. Marttein will be performing at Rouge Cocktail Club on October 24, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
