Info
On May 26, 2027, The Cloverhearts land at The Flapper in Birmingham with their sharp, high-speed take on Celtic punk. Built around Australian singer-songwriter Sam Cooper, the band sits right at the crossroads of celtic punk, folk punk and skate punk: punchy, direct songs, choruses that hit fast, and melodies driven by bagpipes and tin whistle.
What makes The Cloverhearts click live is that constant push-and-pull between straight-up punk energy and a more pub-ready, singalong feel, without slipping into folk pastiche. After cutting their teeth in Australia, they’ve taken this sound on the road across Europe, the UK and Japan, and they’ve already shared stages with heavyweights from the circuit like The Mahones, Flogging Molly, Ferocious Dog and Zebrahead. Expect a set that keeps things moving: tight rhythms, big hooks, and that festive edge that turns a gig into a crowd thing.
