MØL — Blackgaze
With Dreamcrush, their upcoming album due out January 30, 2026 via Nuclear Blast, the Danish band MØL continues the evolution begun with Jord and Diorama. The group here explores the duality of dreams: capable of carrying us and giving us something to believe in, they can also become oppressive when expectations clash with reality.
Across eleven tracks, MØL tackles loss, grief, identity, self-acceptance, and reconstruction, in an album that nevertheless rejects any despairing vision. Musically, the band blends the intensity of post-rock and shoegaze with influences from alternative rock, bringing together explosive passages, massive guitars and ethereal melodies.
Sung in Danish and English, Dreamcrush constitutes a personal dive into introspection and self-discovery, turning pain and uncertainties into a dark, powerful work, illuminated by a glimmer of hope.
MØL will perform at Rock n’Eat on March 11, 2027 at 7:00 PM.
