Info
54 Ultra lands at Village Underground in London on February 17, 2027, bringing the live version of John Anthony “Johnny” Rodriguez’s New Jersey-bred project. On record, he plays with contrasts: synthy indie rock songcraft rubbed up against a Latin pulse, with garage-pop bite and a soul tint that keeps the melodies warm and direct.
Expect a set built on honest, hook-led writing and textures that move from glossy keys to rougher edges without losing the groove. Rodriguez’s producer instincts show in the details, but the point is the feeling: tight rhythms, catchy lines, and that cultural swing running underneath. With a charismatic stage presence, 54 Ultra turns this hybrid sound into something that hits clean and immediate in a room made for it.
