Iceage bring their Copenhagen-bred post-punk to Thekla in Bristol on February 26, 2027. Built around the sharp voice and writing of Elias Bender Rønnenfelt, the Danish four-piece have always kept that DIY tension up front: tight rhythms, abrasive guitars, and songs that feel like they could tip over at any second.
On stage, you can expect the early, clipped punch of New Brigade and You’re Nothing to rub shoulders with the broader, more melodic shapes they’ve explored since Plowing Into the Field of Love. Over the years they’ve stretched their sound without sanding it down, pulling in darker rock tones, a bit of bluesy drag, and a clearer sense of songwriting on records like Beyondless and Seek Shelter. Same line-up, same nervous energy, just a band that keeps moving while staying unmistakably Iceage.
