Info
Six60 land in Manchester for a show at Manchester Academy on October 12, 2026, bringing their Dunedin-born blend of soul, pop rock, contemporary R&B and electronic pulse. Built as a live band from the start, they’re all about clean melodies, big choir-like choruses and that direct, no-fuss connection with the room.
Since forming in 2008 around the student scene at the University of Otago, the band have kept evolving their sound across a run of releases that balance pop songwriting with heavier electronic rhythms, and moments rooted in soul and light-reggae warmth. Expect a set that moves fast between singalong hooks and groove-driven tracks, with plenty of space for those crowd-lifting refrains that have made their reputation back home in New Zealand. Six60 now hit the stage as a quartet, still focused on the same thing: making the songs work in real time, right in front of you.
