Alela Diane returns to the stage with the collective momentum that runs through her latest cycle of songs, conceived as an album recorded quickly, with a band, and as close to live as possible. Marked by the passing of Michael Hurley, the California-based singer-songwriter has found her way back to writing by throwing open the door to her musicians: drums, bass, guitars and backing vocals densify this contemporary folk she has been shaping since the 2000s, always guided by a clear voice and writing that hits the mark. On October 7, 2026, at the Auditorium Jean-Pierre Miquel in Vincennes, she is set to navigate between stripped-back ballads and more expansive arrangements, with that attention to detail and listening that gives her live performances their edge. In the opening act, Elias Dris will present his song format between folk and alternative pop: crisp melodies, acoustic guitar, vocal harmonies, and songwriting nourished by American references.
