Info
Maxïmo Park land in Dundee on December 18, 2026 at Fat Sams with that sharp, tightly-wound indie rock energy they’ve been refining since the early 2000s. Built around Paul Smith’s instantly recognizable vocal delivery and Duncan Lloyd’s guitar-driven writing, the band’s sound hits on cutting riffs, melodic keys and rhythms made for packed rooms.
Expect a set that moves between early post-punk revival urgency and the more textured, synth-leaning turns of their later records. Their songs keep a clear eye on everyday tensions: relationships under pressure, city life, and the way politics seeps into the personal without turning the night into a lecture. It’s the kind of show where hooks and momentum do the talking, with a band that knows how to keep things lean, fast and alive onstage.
