Info
On December 6, 2026, mustbejohn takes the stage at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow for a show that sits right at the crossroads of indie-pop, alternative guitar music and melodic spoken word. His songs move like quick snapshots of everyday city life: friendships shifting, nights out stretching too long, and those in-between moments when you’re trying to figure out what comes next.
Built on direct storytelling and easy-to-grab refrains, the set balances spoken-sung phrasing with pop structures and a touch of light electronic production, echoing a UK lineage where social observation meets punchy hooks. Expect tracks that helped put his name into circulation like “Last Dances” and “Jenny’s House”, alongside material from his EP “Hope Came Last”, a key step toward a clearer indie-alternative edge. Plus special guests round out the night.
