On November 17, 2026, Bonobo brings his Distance In Static tour to Vancouver, stopping at the PNE Forum for a set built around the signature balance he’s been refining for years: warm, melodic electronics with just enough swing to keep things moving. Known as Simon Green, the British producer and DJ has always played in the space between downtempo, trip hop, nu-jazz and more acoustic textures, where bass sits low, drums stay supple, and arrangements leave room for strings and brass.
This tour is a good excuse to catch how that sound translates on stage, with material shaped by key records like Black Sands, The North Borders, Migration and Fragments. Depending on the format, expect the kind of transitions he’s known for, between immersive listening moments and tighter rhythmic passages made for a full room. It’s Bonobo doing what he does best: detailed production, emotional tension, and a sense of flow that makes the whole set feel like one long story.
