On October 9, 2026, Yaelokre, with the #yaelokretour, will make a stop at Fabrik Hamburg. Behind the project stands Keath Ósk, a Filipino-Icelandic singer-songwriter and multimedia artist, who fuses acoustic folk with OPM influences and a strong urge to tell stories. At the center is Meadowlark: a universe of its own that grows not only through songs but also through illustrations and a staged live production.
In live performance, this means: restrained, clear melodies, the voice in the foreground, delicate arrangements somewhere between folk tradition and modern folk-pop. The theatrical layer is added with costumes and masks, when the figures of this mythology engage in dialogue with one another. By now, at least since ‘Harpy Hare’ and the releases by Hayfield, as well as the following chapters Songs of Origin and Origins, Yaelokre is less about individual tracks and more about continuing to tell a story – in Hamburg, this storytelling can be experienced as a concert.
