Info
On April 1, 2027, The Lilacs land at The Adrian Flux Waterfront in Norwich with the kind of indie rock built for a room that wants to sing back. Coming out of Wigan, the four-piece keep things straight and punchy: direct guitars, choruses that stick, and that tight live-band feel that’s been shaping British stages for years.
Frontman Ollie Anglesea leads the charge with Sam Birchall on guitar, Dave Gomersall on drums and Matt Johnson on bass, a lineup locked in since 2018 and honed through constant gigging. Their rise through the UK independent circuit has taken them from Manchester’s Albert Hall to dates across the O2 Academy network, plus a spot at the Isle of Wight Festival.
Expect a set that leans into momentum and melody, with early calling cards like “Vicarage Road” sitting naturally alongside newer material, all delivered with the energy of a band that grew up on the live rush and still plays like it.
