The Lemon Twigs, that is, the brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario from Long Island – a duo that blends rock with orchestral pop energy, power-pop edges and clear references to the 60s and 70s. On September 22, 2026 they bring this mix to Hamburg’s Bahnhof Pauli: tightly woven vocal harmonies, nimble tempo shifts, and songs that push forward through melodies and details rather than through volume.
Since Do Hollywood (2016) they have consistently expanded their universe: at times more narrative and sprawling, as with the rock opera concept Go to School, at times more direct and to the point. The newer albums Everything Harmony and A Dream Is All We Know place ballads, melancholic pop rock, and refined vocal arrangements more at the center. Live, it remains flexible nonetheless: The D’Addario brothers switch between guitar, bass, drums, and keyboards, and the songs gain exactly the space their harmonies need with the expanded lineup.
