On December 4, 2026, Salvador Sobral will perform at De Doelen in Rotterdam, with a set that suits his singing style: intimate, precise, and entirely guided by phrasing. The Lisbon-based vocalist moves effortlessly between jazz, Lusophone chansons, bossa nova, and acoustic pop, with arrangements that leave room for breath, silence, and detail. Since his debut Excuse Me (2016), Sobral has chosen an intimate concert language, somewhere between standards and his own compositions, without embellishment but with much nuance.
His big breakthrough came in 2017 with Amar pelos dois, the song that earned Portugal the Eurovision Song Contest, written by his sister Luísa Sobral.
