Info
On 4 February 2027, Bonobo lands at Aviva Studios in Manchester with the kind of set built for both heads-down listening and late-night movement. Behind the name is Simon Green, a British producer who’s been shaping a melodic corner of electronic music since the late 90s, where downtempo, trip hop, nu-jazz and acoustic details sit in the same frame.
His catalog moves from the early Tru Thoughts records to the more expansive Ninja Tune era, with albums like Days to Come, Black Sands and The North Borders carving out that signature mix of supple rhythms, muted bass, strings, brass and soul-tinted grooves. More recent chapters like Migration and Fragments push the palette wider, keeping the songwriting tight while leaving space for the room to breathe.
Expect a night that plays with dynamics: patient builds, textured layers, and that sense of craft that makes Bonobo’s music feel as natural on a big system as it does in your headphones.
