La Paloma welcomes a house legend with the visit of Chez Damier. A native of Chicago and a key figure at Detroit's Music Institute, Damier has been shaping the course of house music for more than three decades. An example of this is the founding of Prescription Records with Ron Trent, a cult label responsible for some of the most memorable deep-house tracks of the 1990s. His sets exude roots, spirituality, and groove, with a sensibility that remains intact after so many years.
He will be accompanied in the booth by Sama Yax, one of the most respected diggers on the national scene and a vinyl music enthusiast, and Vilalta, a Barcelona-based selector with a solid trajectory in the city. A night to pay homage to the origins of house, guided by one of its pioneers at La Paloma.
