Info
The Nyokobop festival, presented by Le Hasard Ludique and Super!, focuses on contemporary music from territories that are still too underrepresented on our stages.
Since 2018, it has offered a glimpse of the diversity of music that is reshaping the global musical landscape. In seven editions, driven by Le Hasard Ludique, around one hundred artists have been programmed, and dozens of nationalities, sounds, languages, faces and struggles represented.
Nyokobop returns in December 2026 for an eighth edition at Le Hasard Ludique.
Line-up for December 10:
- Ragapop
Ragapop is a Ukrainian-origin group, the result of a collaboration between members of Dakh Daughters, Ruslana Khazipova and Anna Nikitina, and producer Anton Ocheretyanyy. The band's aesthetic is a blend of performance and music, influenced by post-punk and lo-fi electronics. The group has become known for its live performances. Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the group has been touring across Europe to raise awareness about the situation in their country, to deliver a message, and to support the protection of the values of the free world.
- Aili & Orson
The Belgian-Japanese electro-pop duo consisting of Aili Maruyama and Orson Wouters formed a connection after meeting at a party in 2019. The diversity of their personalities and musical approaches encouraged them to explore new ideas. Preferring spontaneity, they began studio sessions without preconceived ideas, exchanging sounds and jokes until lyrics emerged naturally. Aili's tendency to sing more in Japanese, a distinctive version developed with her father, added a personal touch. Their EP Dansu, released in 2021 on Eskimo Recordings, with its blend of underground electronic sounds and pop, was well received.
- Arsenal Mikebe
Arsenal Mikebe is a Ugandan percussion ensemble, a member of the Nyege Nyege collective, based in the outskirts of Kampala. Composed of master percussionists Ssentongo Moses, Dratele Epiphany, and Luyambi Vicent de Paul, the group transforms traditional rhythmic practices into raw and hypnotic soundscapes that echo the power and precision of electronic music, while remaining entirely acoustic.
