On December 9, 2026, the Nyokobop Festival stops at La Bellevilloise in Paris, presenting a Brazilian lineup that links rap, club, and funk from the favelas.
Tasha & Tracie, twin sisters from São Paulo, bring urban music that blends rap, marginalized Black culture, and genuine artistic autonomy. On stage, their project expands beyond traditional codes: they play with image, narratives, and the daily tensions. With Serena & Venus, their first studio album, they unfold an expansive format, between fiction and memory, affection and street life, abandonment and rebirth.
Across from them, Deize Tigrona brings back the raw energy of funk carioca born in the baile funk parties of Rio. A pioneering figure in the movement, she has circulated these sounds far beyond Brazil, through collaborations and bridges with the global club scene. Her sung, direct and rhythmic delivery combines humor, social critique, and a danceable tension, with tracks such as Sadomasoquista becoming hallmarks of her style.
