On May 1, 2027, The Underworld in London hosts the Saturday chapter of the This Is London Bank Holiday Weekend, with a street-punk bill that leans hard on Oi! spirit and modern punk urgency.
Booze & Glory headline with the no-frills, chant-along drive they’ve been sharpening since forming in London in 2009. Built on tight tempos, shouted choruses and a strong Oi! backbone, their songs tap into working-class life, camaraderie and London street culture without slipping into tired clichés. Expect the set to move fast, with that mix of toughness and melody that runs through their run of releases from the early 2010s to Hurricane.
Riskee & The Ridicule bring a different edge: punk and melodic hardcore shot through with spoken-word bite and grime-inflected flow. Their “grime punk” approach hits with sharp rhythm and direct, grounded lyrics, the kind of intensity that made Body Bag Your Scene a calling card beyond the usual punk circuit.
