The Pineapple Thief bring their Far and Wide European Tour 2027 to London, taking over O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 5, 2027. Led by Bruce Soord’s songwriting, the band sits at that sweet spot where progressive rock meets alternative and art rock: melodic guitars, moody textures, and songs built on dynamics rather than flashy soloing. What started as a studio project in 1999 has grown into a tight live machine, sharpened over the years from early releases like 137 and Variations on a Dream to the more direct punch of All the Wars and Magnolia.
On stage, their recent era adds extra rhythmic bite thanks to drummer Gavin Harrison, alongside Jon Sykes and Steve Kitch, pushing the material into something both precise and emotionally charged. Expect a set that moves between intimate, introspective moments and bigger, driving crescendos, with the newer chapter It Leads to This fitting naturally next to fan favourites from Your Wilderness, Dissolution and Versions of the Truth.
